- An e-mail was sent from sponsors@franchiseupdatemedia.com on December 3 requesting your main portal user.
- If you missed that communication, please email heathers@franchiseupdate.com to request access to your portal.
- You will receive a separate email with a unique link to create a log-in.
- From there, you may invite additional users to your portal. PLEASE NOTE: It is recommended to only invite those who will be responsible for managing, tracking and completing tasks / submitting materials. The portal WILL send out weekly reminders. By limiting portal access to a small group of key contacts, we can reduce the amount of email traffic for individuals who don't need to be directly involved in the event preparation process!
- If other individuals within your organization or across your franchise brands need specific details, we suggest that you share that information internally rather than adding them as users to the portal.
- Once you login to your portal, it takes you to your DASHBOARD or HOME page.
- At the top of your dashboard, on the right of the blue bar, there it a button "INVITE TEAM MEMBER." (see image above)
- Type their email address, HIT ENTER, then hit the SEND button.
- The DASHBOARD or "HOME" is your initial view upon entering your portal.
- In this view you can see an overview of the status of your tasks, how many team members have access to your portal and recent activities that have taken place within your portal.
- Action Items are referred to as TASKS within your portal.
- To view your TASKS, click on the TASKS tab at the very top of your portal (see above).
- Your TASKS are shown in chronological order. The item that is due the earliest is at the top.
- You can see what tasks you have to complete, the due date, the progress, and the status.
- Click on any TASK to open up it's details. You will be able to view instructions and how to submit materials.
- PLEASE NOTE: There are a few TASKS that need to be submitted via email due to file size. These tasks have a checkbox for you to select when that file has been submitted. If you do not select this checkbox it will not be marked as submitted and it will continue to be included in your reminders.
- Please see an example of the TASKS tab in the image above. This is what most exhibitors will have in their TASKS section. If you have purchased the SHOWCASE, you will have additional tasks for your showcase submission, and either your tote bag item or Handbook Ad.
- The RESOURCES tab at the top of your portal (see image above) will provide you with any and all information pertaining to this year's MUFC.
- You will find a link to our sponsor & exhibitor website with all conference related information.
- Lodging information.
- All info pertaining to your booth (if applicable).
- The attendee list schedule.
- Please visit this tab as a resource guide for you throughout the planning process.
- You can view an example of the RESOURCES tab in the image above. This is what most exhibitors will have in their RECOURSES section.
- The COMPANY PROFILE tab is where you can view your company listing information which is public on our conference website and mobile app.
- You can view your logo, company name, website, contact email and company description.
- If any of this information is incorrect, it can be updated via the TASK titled "Website & Mobile App Listing."
- From the TEAM tab, you can view and manage all of your team members.
- You can add additional team members within this tab, as well as remove any team members who no longer need access to your portal.
- Any team member listed as an admin as has the capability of removing members.
